ATTORNEY PROFILE

Walter F. Gavigan was born in Vineland, New Jersey in 1948. Before attending college, he was an exchange student in Germany from 1966 to 1967. He graduated from Villanova University in 1970 receiving a B.A. degree. Mr. Gavigan graduated from Loyola University Law School in 1975.

Mr. Gavigan was admitted to practice law in 1975 in New Jersey. During his first year of practice, Mr. Gavigan was a law clerk to the Cumberland County Superior Court Judges. He is a Certified Civil Trial Attorney by the Supreme Court of New Jersey and focuses on general civil litigation, consumer bankruptcy matters, workers compensation and personal injury law. He is a member of the Cumberland County and State of New Jersey Bar Associations.

Mr. Gavigan has served on the Cumberland County Civil Practice Committee, and was a Trustee of the Cumberland County Bar Association. He served on the Board of Directors of the Vineland Developmental Center and was a member of the Neighborhood Dispute Committee of the Millville Municipal Court.
